I worked retail in some form (call centers and in store) from 2012-2015. To this day, I cannot handle having my phone's ringer above silent. in 2012, from October to the end of December, I was taking upwards of 80 calls a night, and I was a supervisor. I can only imagine how many calls my underlings were taking.

golly, i can imagine it. your job was worse than mine. people were more than happy to tell me they'd make sure i was homeless because i didn't satisfy their lust for belongings so without the temper of a face-to-face keeping the worst of the bile at bay i'd imagine people would all but vomit bad things onto you and your workers x_____x
