Halloween is over!!

I'm really pissed off because like... two days ago, I went to my favorite coffee shop for my fall favorite, Pumpkin Spice Chai Latte...
AND IT WAS GONE! >:T NOW they have the winter flavors. ;-; Peppermint Mochas and Hot Chocolates and such...

I wasn't prepared !!!

So I picked something random and it wasn't even good

I don't really celebrate Thanksgiving anymore

And honestly... I don't celebrate Christmas even. ouo

But I like listening to random indie Christmas songs

we don't really do much for turkey day right now either.

and as for my winter holidays, we celebrate ChanaYuleMas - chanukah, yule/solstice, xmas :)

We celebrate Yule/Jul here. I need to make a goat to hide in my friend's house. Maybe that should be my crafting project this month...

my crafting project this month is my NaNo :)

I'm doing something different for NaNo this year. Instead of trying to do a novel I am focusing on worldbuilding for my Pathfinder campaign. I plan on doing 50k words of creating history, locations, NPCs and well... the whole world haha.

i'm doing 4 short stories that are related to my story i wrote last year, and one short story that is decidedly not related to anything.

At least we have plans, right? I believe in us!

My grandmother was Jewish, but raised my dad was raised Christian due to my grandfather being Christian.

But after they divorced, my grandma used to attempt to mix in Chanukah with Christmas stuff when she would celebrate the holidays with my family.

I got really into learning about the Jewish holidays when I was around 16, but.. you know.. our family did not belong to any synagogue and my grandmother was the only Jewish person I knew at the time, so I kinda went online and guessed at how Chanukah is celebrated.

People used to think I was weird because I am a POC and everyone in Minnesota always assumed that you can't be both black AND Jewish. :/

My black family celebrates Kwanzaa...
I used to host a Kwanzaa thread in Mene each year. It was fun, I might do it here if no one else beats me to it :D
