snow is so lovely but you have to be ok with wet. snow is sooooo wet

When it is the dead of winter here is the best snow time because it is SO cold that the snow is all nice and powdery instead of wet and slushy. Doesn't help you when it melts of course, but it is much nicer than humid snow.

A lot of people around here complain about it, but I love it. The mountains are prettier and everything just seems softer and quieter.

not to mention cleaner. you cannot see as much of the general muck that is on so much stuff XD

I loove the sparkly snow the best!

My house had a random lamp post in the front yard and when it got dark, that lamp post would light up the snow and make it look sparkly!

Also, I liked to pretend my house was in Narnia because of that lamp post.

it kind of sounds a little lonely though

It got very lonely during the winters. :(
Oftentimes, we'd get snowed in overnight and it would take all morning to shovel the driveway...
And there was nothing but white for what felt like miles and miles.

It would get so bad sometimes that my parents would postpone my birthday parties sometimes until March or April because the snow would be really bad in my birth month January and since we lived in the woods and it was often really hard for people to find our home and if they did, it was even harder to find parking in the dark and in the snow. :(
