No time to help random kids or puppies. You got an exit to find. So you simply ignore the new path and walk on straight ahead through the really long corridor. Up until this point everything seems familiar. You check your map and compass again. Here a path opens up to the right, leading southwards into the maze.

Understandably you're in no hurry to find out if the corn stalks would try to capture you again. So instead you turn to the right, and after some meters come across another path where you could turn right once more. Otherwise there's always the option to continue straight ahead. Will you discover treasure, or merely spring a trap? Who knows!

The sphinx sighs. "Alright, alright. I promised I would reward you. Here, smart girl - take these!" With those words she hands you a bunch of tea lights. Then she tilts her head and looks at you like a kitten. "Say... do you still have some of that popcorn?"

As you go straight into a small alcove, you stumble across two talking laboratory mice in a heated discussion. You listen for a while, and apparently they wanted to take over the world. Only to find themselves now stuck in a haunted corn maze instead. If you want, you can help them.

Accompany the mice back to the entrance, lock them in a cage to perform science experiments on them, or join the noble quest for world domination?
