You know... I wonder if it might be worth it to do something like what Minecraft does for banners -- have solid-color flags to use as the background and then ornaments that can be placed upon them like lines in various positions.

whenever the subject of pride themed stuff comes up, i feel like i need a way better list of flags to cover than somewhere like wikipedia supplies. and i also always feel bad when our color selection doesn't have exacting perfect matches to the real thing.

in all seriousness, you can try and get as close as you can w/ the current colour selection. i don't think anyone will mind.

there's the lgbt wiki for pride flags and such, but there's a lot of pride flags for different microidentities. which is neat, but can probably be pretty time consuming.

if either of you would like to send me a guide to flags for when i'm trying to represent as many as possible to keep in my inbox for safe keeping

yes, the microidentities can make things difficult at times, unfortunately. less so if we're making flags with the intentions of being pride themed, but in the past, most of our pride colored items have been things that have a lot of places for color on them or already have stripes that make us go "hey, let's do pride colors"

which means that very different, or differently nuanced, flags with same general color schemes might find themselves in competition for the recolor slots

... which never feels good. but. i would rather do it in increments than not do it at all.
