Looking for some cool backgrounds to put on

the combo you have on right now is pretty cool

there's sooo many
but consider: Tenebrous Reve

Besides Tenebrous Reve, I really like the one from Eventide Muse, or any of its recolors, particular Collection of Prints.

a lot of backgrounds are donation items, but with the right combination, you can get some good shit from the free items.

I think I'm one of a handful who doesn't find backgrounds to be necessary

i don't typically use them unless i'm specifically going for a scene piece rather than an isolated character

Void's current is an amazing mix of the posting rewards. The catch is getting the colors you want since posting rewards are randomized. You can trade them in for another random one at the Item Exchange (under Games) (10 times per day), or make a buying/quest thread.

My favorite non-DI ones to use are Hill of Decision (from posting or crane game, idr) and Reginald's Ordinary Stump (token shop).

I am... not great at backgrounds, tbh.

Most of the time, I feel like my avatar is incomplete without a background.

I think my avatar creation process is, I generally try to make avatars that could be characters with stories. I focus on that so much that I kind of... neglect backgrounds.

for the most part, my av looks like me. sometimes I make character or themed avatars, and sometimes those use backgrounds...

At first I thought this was going to a thread about ethnic backgrounds!
