I have a goal to have a dice collection that rivals Laura Bailey's.

She's a voice actress who also plays D&D on Critical Role. She's married to Travis Willingham, and they have a son named Ronin. She also has a HUGE dice collection, and brings about half of it with her to D&D on Thursdays (Critical Role is on Thursdays at 7pm GMT -8). The pink dice bag is bigger than my head.

I mean...who she's married to and children is irrelevant to me, but that's good to know I guess?

Ah, critical role. I have heard it, but never watched? Listened? to it.

There's an episode tomorrow night, and you can catch up on past episodes on Youtube or on their podcast. The show does fundraising for charities at various points in the year. 826LA, Operation: Supply Drop, stuff like that.

Critical roll go in trouble recently for doin a Wendys commercial and a whole module for them. Since Wendys has appalling labor practices it landed them in hot water with a lot of their fans.

I never worked in fast food,
But I always kinda assumed most fast food places treated their workers poorly and had them work in poor conditions. :(

I very briefly (like 4-6 months) worked fast food. It was mostly okay, but I hated smelling like grease all the time.

Eeeee! I hate the smell of grease :(

I'm sensitive to certain smells, so it would drive me insane having to smell like that all the time.

Yeah, that and walking home half soaked with water because of how we had to spray the floors off every night were the worst parts.

I think poor treatment of employees can depend on the place itself and the manager(s).

They honestly didn't know. and when they found out, they donated all the money they raised with the episode to a charity that fights the piss-poor conditions and labor practices. They also apologized and are actively working on making amends.

Oh jeeze, I remember spraying the floors -- and running the grease through a filtration device so we could scrub the bits of fries and tenders and whatnot out of the fryers!

Yeah, that sorta stuff is why I wanna avoid fast food work if I possibly can. that and my knees and back are fubar.

I met Laura once at a convention years ago. 8D

Guys....someone yell at me until I finish sewing on the custom cat's eyes! Because that's all I have left but I've been procrastinating because the person is now on vacation out of the states until March. XP
