Also got a look at one of the boat houses. They seem to only rent out kayaks and not shells. Maybe because it has more of a learning curve for boat handling and they probably don't want to risk damage. Not sure how to learn to use them without having access, aside from the individual lessons at a different location that probably costs too much. But would still need a way to rent after that, anyway.

asked about a legal name change. still want to change my name to percival on my eighteenth birthday, considering that name feels like it just fits more.

Was supposed to have today off. Nope. Was in the dentist's chair for a cleaning, and my phone went off.

I have no one to blame but myself, though. My code, my bug, my automated alert system.

Painful that it took six hours to fix it...

Tracked down the cost of the rowing club and the classes, and it did wind up being pretty expensive to get a membership.

Should probably just file all my nails down to the same length so they look nicer, but I don't wanna. Because it took me so long to grow them out...
Plus, no one notices anyway. *shrug*

I've been debating with myself on whether or not to trim my nails..

Mostly because it's been getting trickier and tricker to take my contacts out with long nails. >:T
I used to be a wiz at getting my contacts in and out even with long nails..

I guess it has just felt more difficult because I've been crying way more often than I usually do and when I cry I fumble around and get stressed out and it makes it harder to take my contacts out when I'm stressed I guess..

I hope this isn't gross, but I will spoil it just in case,

Oh yes. I totally get that. The tampon thing ABSOLUTELY happens to me and it's the worst.

Of course, I feel like I'm just at a base level of tenseness half the time anyway...
I can't even imagine doing ANYTHING near the eyes with long nails. Yikes!

I couldn't do contacts. My eyes are way too sensitive -- or rather, my reflexes are; my eyes themselves do fine, but my whole body overreacts to anything getting too close to them. It took YEARS for my subconscious to get comfortable enough around my wife to let her touch my eyelids without twitching incessantly.
