EDIT: why doesn't voting automatically start on the 22nd? wouldn't that be more convenient?

The only reason I can think of is just because Gizzie, who is the current host, isn't on super often, so the entries aren't kept updated on the first post, making it harder to view them all at the same time for judging and figure out the number corresponding to each entry.
But I mean, there's no reason that dedicated voters can't go through all the entries on their own and vote anyway.
