Finally went ahead and tried haka roe. Has a fish meat sort of texture, yet also grainy. And a subtle, but strange unappetizing flavor. Would not recommend.

Agree on the lame excuse. I'm pretty sure most people can watch a 40 minute film while thinking about anything from dinner to their next World of Warcraft raid and know shit of what they watched afterwards.
