one of the fabrics looks like the green number streams from the Matrix, and the other looks like a computer circuit board. they go nicely with my fabrics that i already have - one with shelves of books, and the other with retro items, like a rotary phone, phonograph, old typewriter... XD

i hand sew my masks, because i can't play on the computer and watch the tv if i'm sitting at my sewing machine XD

I got more elastic to make masks. But didn't have time to get fabric sadly. :C

i'm just about done a character from Fortnite for my nephew for his birthday! :)

and then... more masks and work on my blanket. :)

I had an encounter with a mythical Karen today, which refused to wear a mask in our store. B[

It claimed it had a health condition. Which of course is Karen for, "I don't wanna wear a mask because I don't believe in masks, or keeping others safe, not even myself."

I called my manager as per it's request. A Karen in line, one with more dim colors and manners on display, proceeded to get into a Offended Bout with the other Karen. They exchanged heated words and both verbally tried to assert their dominance, the first Karen believing she had every reason to blow air in their direction and photograph them to post online about how beastly a Karen was picking on her to victimize herself and gain sympathy from it's complaint.

My managers, (both of them) came to my rescue and proceeded to deal with the issue in a professional manner, getting the Karen what it needed and getting it out of the store as quick as possible, letting it skip the line, further affirming it of it's filthy self-assumed privilege.

I went to hide behind register 5 where we keep the overstock of candy.

0n0 Oregon has it the worst I think! The air quality is so bad up there, it was reported it's currently the worst in the world right now.

I always leave home with my mask on and I make sure to stay inside as much as I can. :) Plus I always keep informed with any new fire news.

O.O Poor Northern California tho! I thought we were having our usual summer, but Northern Cali, where my nina lives, hardly sees any fire season, and they are having the worst smoke and fire in 30 years!

California is on fire and so are my dreams. :c Sigh. So yeah, it sucks.
