yeah. it's a fun game and I'd like to play it. I'd be disappointed if it goes in regular games and I didn't get money for all the posts though. D;

you don't have to create a character, but I guess it depends on what theme of mafia we play around. I've never really created a character when I've played internet-mafia, but sometimes I do when I play at parties. then again, that depends on our storyteller. my friends are awesome at incorporating everyone in the room into the story, and giving us crazy lives and relationships and THEY ALWAYS KILL OFF MY KIDS! D:<

Ahh, so it's a word game.
I'm going with forum game because it kind of requires someone to say "Night time", "Day time", you know?
Where as a roleplay can continue regardless if you are online or not.
It's kind of a tough call. Let me check with rules and such before you decide.

yeah, it is tough because it doesn't really feel like it belongs anywhere. it's not really a word game (it's more of a strategy game, like Clue!), it's not really an RP, it's not really a hangout, it's not really a community discussion, it doesn't belong in gamers' heaven or writer's diary or....

Let me ask this.
When you play it in real life with a group of people.
Someone is decided to be "story teller" and the rest are divided into groups...
Would you be able to have two "story tellers"?
I ask because the game is like green light - red light.
As in green light (night) someone's killed.
Red light (day) frozen time to discuss and decide who did it.
Then again they can kind of go on with the game even if the "story teller" is gone because all the killers have to do is PM one another who to kill.
Tricky... It's not really a spam game to be a forum game.
If you can create back stories for whoever signs up and plays I would consider it more of a role play.
If it's deemed otherwise it'll just be moved and I'll apologize for being wrong. xD;
