No one in the entire family gets along with her. BUUUT my mum is the only one who will lift a finger to help her- because my mum's nice.
So we get stuck with her here, and all she does is bitch about how everything is my mum's fault.

That's not good. :/ Being nice is fine and all but your mother shouldn't be taking that sort of abuse. I'd kick the old bag out to the curb in a heart beat if she acted that way towards my Mom.

It's my mum's fault that our house has stairs that you have to climb to get into it. It's my mum's fault that our dog barks when someone comes to the door, it's my mum's fault when the TV clicker doesn't work because my Grandma has it backwards or is using the wrong remote. It's my mum's fault if she doesn't like how something tastes. I could go on and on.

I get yelled at afterward if I don't just sit and let her insult my mum. My parents are always like "She's old. She won't be around much longer. Be nice." If someone is mean to my mother for NO reason I am not going to like them.

LOL she's clearly irritated at everything around her because of her situation and reacts it off on your mom since she's the only other person around - and of course she wouldn't react it off you. So your mom is her victim.
It's good you're telling her not to insult your mother. Maybe it helps if you tell her it disappoints you/hurts you. Grandmothers don't want to do things that hurt her grandchildren xD

Copper: Seriously? o_o that's BULL to take it just because shes 'old' so what? If a little kid blamed your mom for stupid stuff like that, would HE get away with it? I don't think so. Crabby old ladies should get over themselves. Hope your grandmother doesn't expect a large group of people at her funeral. sorry, mean people annoy me.

My grandma's old as hell too and she's a SWEET HEART. Granted she's gotten a little more negative when Grandpa died but she's still the little Ladybug lover that she's always been.

She DOES take it out on me. She calls me fat and tells me that I'm unlady-like. I weight 105lbs at 5'7"- I'm NOT fat. I AM unlady-like, but I'm not a total slob. I just prefer killing zombies to needlework.
She took it out on my brother when he was still here. She takes it out on anyone who gets close to her that is related. She won't do it to strangers.
When I tell her that it's not my mum's fault she just gets pissed and tells me that I hate her.

I agree grandmothers should really realize they are lucky when they got a family to take care of them. In Japan she'd have been left for dead while the kids take the money. That's just horrible.
I know you can get grumpy when you're old because you can't do things yourself anymore, but I'd try to turn it into something positive to see the good things that are happening :3 People putting the effort in taking care of you are the ones you should treasure.

It's a good thing I don't know where you live because I would probably slap your Grandmother. There's no way in hell you're fat, I'm 160pounds and I'm not fat, just a little chubby in the tummy and legs. And there's nothing wrong with killing zombies lol.

And if your Grandma thinks you hate her because you stand up for you Mom you should tell her "yeah so? Who WOULD like someone who's a selfish old cranky woman who takes her frustrations out on people who love her?"

I'm 140lbs and a little taller than Lady Copper yet people even think I got anorexia =_=; There's no way Lady Copper could be fat. Impossible xD

I know that's just insane to call someone THAT skinny fat lol. It's down right mean. It's people like her grandmother that makes teenagers try to kill themselves to get skinnier.

I know Copper knows better :3 I suppose anything her grandmother says can't be taken seriously, she'd probably insulted too many people already for that xD It'd be like 'sure granma... whatever grandma... of course grandma, whatever you think...'

Still I wouldn't be able to stand for it. Eventually I'd end up cussing out the old woman. I don't care if you're young or old, you should NEVER take your issues out on people especially your family.

I mean when my Grandma actually snaps at me (stress from the death of Grandpa) I could even then barely deal with it, and it's because I knew that she was just hurting.

It doesn't matter who insults. It's just a main thing, you shouldn't insult anyone. If you really are pissed on someone, just keep it for yourself and everyone stays (fake but absolutely better) happy.

I realize I'm not fat. You can count my ribs and if my back wasn't pure muscle you'd be able to count the bumps on my spine.
