I see we have gained a few new recruits while I was away gathering supplies to keep these fledglings on their toes.

Indeed. For now we have many blankets for the cold nights ahead and supplies to speed along the healing of wounds. I discovered a warehouse in the sector that we have not fully checked out, which I believe belongs to 'them.' It would do us well to return there this eve and uncover the secrets of this building. It would be also be highly advantageous if it really is theirs should we raid it.

As am I. It would be ideal if the area is empty of foes. And yet...

*lightly touches the hilts of her kodachi*

"It is settled then. You should gather anything you need before we head off. Too big of a group would give us away, so those of us here tonight can investigate while the others do what ever it may be that they are doing. I will wait at the edge of the encampment just in case. I also do not want this information to be given to anyone here, as a precautionary measure."

Her eyes slanted, pupils slitting as the golden hues flickered under the light of the dancing flame within the nearby pit. Zephyr's tail twitched as she folded her arms across her chest, just below the bust. The woman's back was straight and she was prepared to go as is. For she always wore her armor, even to bed.

Rogue's eyes glinted excitedly. She'd been friend of the battlefield for years now, wandering from wasteland to wasteland. She wasn't as well known as the Generals she now sided with, it did not make her a stranger to raids and bloodshed. In any case, she did as she was instructed.

From her own cot, she retrieved the sword that seemed to always be at the ready. As she thought many times before, this weapon that was now in her hand seemed to always be eager for battle. She stepped out, allowing her dark eyes to fall upon the General she so faithfully followed. Approaching, she offered a rather regal bow before standing up straight, a grin across her pale features. "Zephyr! I am ready!"

*shoulders his great war axe and pops his neck* "Have we any orders for the battle field, General?"

*looks around* I'm just here for the pretties. o_o And of course, I want to win. =D

Asura's smile did not waver as she beheld the Corrupt General before her. And once again, as she had thought of a myriad number of times in the past, she wondered how this woman, full of feline grace and patient authority could have attained her loyalty.

How could this Master of Shadows ensnare her, who cared of little else other than the screams of the dying and the tears that mingle with spilt blood on the battlefield. Before this war, Asura would have readily scoffed and dispatched of anyone who had dared to try to tie her down to a cause. She was no caged bird, no marionette on a string, taught to dance at another's hand.

But as she gazed longer at Zephyr, she found herself not caring about what came before. The Corrupt General's strength held much promise, and with Braen's mark upon her, much turmoil would certainly follow.

And for Asura, that was more than enough reason.

"I have no need of extraneous materials to hinder me, My Liege. All I require are my blades and your orders," said Asura, not moving from where she stood.
