No no unions are a good thing other wise teachers would not have any rights or actual money to live with.
Unions tend to argue on behalf of the person they are representing.

Public: In 4th and 5th grade I was constantly bullied and teachers didnt do anything about it so at the end of the 5th grade I lost my temper, blacked out, and when I was aware of what was going on I had beaten the living shit out of the guy and was choking him against the wall.

Private: I was "A threat to himself, those around him, and society itself" because I was different and when a teacher asked me to bring in pieces of dark art I had made I did, and a Yankee priest saw them and told me that I was going to burn in hell. Well, 3 weeks later DHS told this bitch that I showed nothing that would validate her claims and that she had no right to expell me, and was forced to take me back in.

Thats what they say. They dont do what they say they do anymore and they are more like thugs than anything now. I know from seeing it.

Well that too, but were a social democrocy so that has no relevance. I'm anti union because when my brother needed them they fucked him over, when the ship yard ttied to save money and didnt agree to the Unions increas in pay (already well past 20 an hour) they shut down the whole damn yard, and when Michigan used to be a good state, they ruined the industry with union control and ruined the lives of Michiganders and there for ruined the lives of large portions of my family. Not to mention the threats of violence against people and the actual violence inflicted on people who were against the unions or tried to go agains their union.

And it seems that the union was working for them asking for a pay increase and the ship yard could not meet the demands. The recession has hit a lot of places hard. it could have simply went out of business.

It was the union who chose not to help him. The Unions job is to protect the right of the worker, not demand higher and higher wages under the threat of strike or riot everytime a new ship contract comes up.

In what way did they choose not to help him? Because it seems to me they were trying to help him. The cost of living and inflation has gone up and so has minimum wage. And how is not helping him resulting in their fault that the place closed. I fail to see the connection honestly. It sounds as though your brother and you needed a scape goat and the union is it.
