"I am Shenandoah," responded the newcomer, instinctively looking over the two individuals with wariness. The tip of her sword was pointed to the ground, casually held to allow both a sense of casualness with the ability to come to a ready position as needed. The blade was not surrounded with the magic she used to make it flame, which was also another indication of her willingness to make a semi-decent impression.

"And I am of the Divine Army," she continued. "I... I have been away due to issues with my mother. Tell me, what has happened since my leave?"

Letiel's eyes never left the newcomer, she didn't trust Shenandoah but noted the blade position. "Taishi, is she lying?"

Taishi watched the show of semi submissiveness the orb fading from her hand 'we should do the same but until we know if she is our side excersise caution' she would say gently into her friends mind knowing it was the best thing to do especially what had came to pass the night before "My name is Taishi" she would say gently tilting her head "Is your mother okay?" she would ask her voice showing concern, for the moment she would ignore the question given to them hopeing her friend would only give basic information if any about last nights happenings

Reluctantly, Letiel turned her glaive point down.

Shen's mouth turned down in a frown. "No. She passed. The cold was too much for her and she developed a fatal case of pneumonia."

((It's the name of a nearby town to where I live. Actually, it's also a Native American name that means 'deer'.))

(Huh. I really like the name. When I still played in a symphonic band we played a piece called Shenandoah that I loved.)

Taishi's eyes filled with sorrow "I am sorry for your loss" she would say gently "I know what it is to loose parents" she would say her gaze looking down to the ground, to tell the truth she had been raised by her family's guardian's along side her brother since she could remember. Bringing her gaze back up to look at her once more "A few of our storage houses have been attacked, an our post or two have been slaughtered... the store house that was attacked earlier in the day yesterday, is going to be fortified by the other side" she would say gently she just remembered what she over heared yesterday when she was being a pain for the enemy, compleatly leaving out what had happened to the general for the moment she was still unsure, her eyes where still trying to see the woman's intentions. She hoped her friend would follow suit with any information she knew without letting out anything big

Startled, Shen looked at Taishi. "What?! When did all of this happen?" She looked about the fortified camp once again, registering some of the visible damage. It pained her to think about having lost her mother only to have come back to a camp that had gotten harmed while she was gone. She might not be the best fighter, but she certainly felt she should have been there to help.

Taishi looked to shen "over the last the month... the latest one i was talking about was yesterday evening" she would say with a soft sigh, really wanting to get back but at the moment this would be an impossible task without giving out information she didn't want to give out as she was still unsure of the stranger

Shen sighed. "Well, I'm not super able to fight, but I could certainly help clean up. I'm handy enough with my hands. It's a shame my mother was so sick for so long."

She perked up. "Point me in a direction, and I can start repairing things to a point that no one will have to worry about the structures falling down." Her tone was enthusiastic and eager. She had fair ability to fix and clean. It would be no issue for her to do 'menial labor'.

Taishi seen the wonan't true intentions and took a deep breath "there is one thing I left out miss" she would say quirtly "Last night Miss Fenrir" she would trail off as she took a few seconds to bring herself to say it "miss Fenrir was injured" she would say her voice showing sorrow "I am sorry I did not tell you sooner, you where an unknown and i had to be sure, please accept my appologies" she would say hoping the woman indeed would understand

Shen paled notably at the news. "She... she is injured?" she spoke in a small voice. Devastation spread across her features. It did not even register she had not been included in the information immediately.

Though still pale and upset, Shen gave Taishi a determined look. "Tell me what I can do to ease the burden on those that are looking after Lady Fenrir." The deference from an older individual to a younger might have been out of place, but she understood that she was better at certain things than others.

"Help me kill the corrupt Zephyr," Letiel mumbled.

Taishi looked at her as she gre pale and seen her face cover in worry "Yes, but she is healed, now only needs rest" she would say with a smile "Admitidly I have no idea when she will awaken, but I will be by her side. I am a great healer despite my looks" she would say, her golden orbs turning back to her friend and sighed "Didn't we already go over that? we are not ready yet" bitting the bottom of her lip slight she thought of a way to stop her ally doing something rash "Why don't you train with Shen, your skills could grow together" she would say gently walking back to the general's tent

Letiel thought a moment and looked at Shenandoah then at the ground. "I suppose I could leave tomorrow."
