Taishi brought her hand up and wacked seriin around the back of the head ((gibbs style)) "Mind your manners, he is Captain Dacorum, show him respect" she would say letting out a sigh "I'm sorry it's been a while since my brother has been in fornt of someone he homself couldn't boss around" she would say apologetically, her eyes then went to Jinx "you are being foolish, it will release more evil into the world, are you really willing to see others suffer for one person?" she would ask "the needs of the many come before the few" she would say her eye's glowing "If it is a mage battle you wish I will be your opponent" she would say stepping forward

She released his arm to talk. "Im no good with battle magic, just the basics of one in particular~"

Dacorum barely reacts. He knows he's been attacked, but he shows no signs of pain -- and in fact the skin on his arm doesn't even show any marks.

You see, Dacorum's armor is just for show. He's just as resilient without it.

And now you've made yourself his enemy. He moves swiftly, dropping his glaive and hooking his arms through Jinx's, pinning them behind her back and picking her up off the ground a couple of inches.

Jinx squealed in shock and started kicking like a six year old. "Put me down!"

Taishi looked at her and blinked wanting to face palm but stopped her self "you don't understand magic and yet you want to dable in it with that..." she would point to the urn "DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW IDIOTIC THAT IS?" she would say her voice reflecting how crazy this idea sounded "If she is strong the she can change her own fate but I refuse to allow innocent beings to suffer, I refuse to allow my race to be hurt or even wipped out because you want to play mage and savior" she would say moving towards the urn "Captain please let me to the urn" she would say respectivly to him

Espy jumped up with a low growl and kicked the glaive to the side. With complete disregard to ranks, she disappeared momentarily and appeared behind Dacorum.

"Let her go," she muttered, her katar at the nape of his neck.

(Why oh why do I get the feeling I'm about to get owned?)

Jinx started crying. "If you think I'm as much a fool as I seem you have another thing coming!"

(Because you all are, epically. Well powned more than owned.)

(Fen told me she wasn't going to and it would be out of character for Dacorum to open it himself or for him to allow anyone else to do it without being told what it's going to do. You've played yourself into a corner through your character's stubbornness. Keep in mind that out-of-character pleas shouldn't be influencing anyone in-character; that's just bad form -- it's considered cheating. Exchanging that information via PM doesn't help because unless you say something Taishi's character has no way of knowing.)

Dacorum doesn't pay terribly much attention to Espy, bearing the cold confidence of an immortal secure in his own defenses.

If I were Corrupt you would be dead where you stand. If I were less principled I would be torturing you until you complied with my orders.

Fortunately for you, I am neither.

Dacorum flags down one of the other captains in the area to watch over the jar. I need to take THIS one... He ponders Espy's presence. And possibly THIS one... to the brig.

(Thats fine >.< I didn't expect it to go anywhere anyway. Just a silly whim to see how long i could keep this running. And i do hope Taishi doesn't open the jar. Its a one use only thing.)

She sighed and gave up.
