Leprosy is at least treatable today, but something like MS... that terrifies me. :c I don't know what I would do if I were diagnosed with a chronic, untreatable condition like that.

Ahh okay. Do you guys have the MS Read-a-thon? It may just be an Aus thing, but it may not.
They told us once about a woman who had MS, true story too. Every now and then she'd lose the ability to use one of her limbs or body functions/parts. One day her daughter came into her room because she hadn't gotten up yet, which was unusual, and she was just lying there. Turns out the woman had lost the ability to move any part of her body including opening her eyelids. So she was awake and just lying there.
That is so freaking scary.

Sooo much can go wrong with the human body. It's scary.

Soo many reasons we can die. Sooo many reasons why the human race is lucky to be this smart. Sooo many reasons why Earth could and can be destroyed. *keeps enlarging the picture* Sooo many reasons, well one reason, why the Milky Way is gonna go *boom* with Andromeda one day. We screwed. And that's the nicest way to put it.

The earth might not even be there when Andromeda collides with us. The sun may die by then, and ... earth will be a small baked rock once that happens. XD

/has been watching a LOT of the Universe. It's a neato show on the History Channel.

*googles* The sun will die in about 5 billion and Andromeda will collide with us between 3-5 billion xD So, I guess, we should all start taking bets?

Ah yeah they've got a Universe show on History. I usually watch the Astronomy programs on Discovery. They've got the really good Stephen Hawking ones too~~

I actually have a favorite physicist on these shows, even. B| Michio Kaku? I even follow him on Twitter. He's the older Asian fellow with long hair. Really entertaining guy. And he makes crazy theories make sense in plain English.

My dad made fun of me when he found out I liked Astronomy.
"But it's a boy thing..." *shakes fist* I got so angry he ended up buying me an Astronomy dvd, haha. Turns out that series is premiering on Discovery soon. Maybe I should actually watch the dvd then XD I keep forgetting and whenever he sees the sealed up case he goes "D8" in his special way.

Pfft, that's hardly a boy thing. Watch any astronomy show! There are lots of ladies in there.

Of course! He didn't even realise my older sister liked it at one point too. I don't get how it's a boy thing xD Am I not allowed to like the universe 'cause I don't have boy parts? Hehe.
