a lot of stuff. most of it's really stupid, but when a lot of little stupid things pile up it tends to be not so little and stupid, y'know?

like i've been sick most of the weekend. i'm still sick. i had to leave my mom's birthday dinner early last night because i was sick, and i didn't get a lot of sleep last night because i was hanging out at the porcelain fishbowl. she decides to have people over again this afternoon from about 4.30 (and it's now 10.30pm) but she doesn't tell me so that i can organize food or anything. she orders pizza for her guests (despite the fact that we're "so fucking poor" we can't have christmas this year) and then calls to offer me the leftovers as an afterthought. that's awesome right?

i realise i'm probably just being a petulant child.

well it's good to know someone sees it my way.

i honestly don't have a problem with her having people over. but i'd like to know in advance so that i can eat at a reasonable hour, and i don't think that's an unreasonable request. i seriously cannot eat after 9pm without upchucking. and i understand that it's just my bad luck that i got the bedroom right above the dining room/patio, but they could make an effort to keep it down after 10, right? i'm surprised we haven't had a call from Reykjavik asking us to shut up.
