Maybe she gave up, since she has always had to struggle up to the surface between all this large, mainstream threads? Possibly why she gave up physical activity in the first place.
Besides, she possibly hasn't fully recovered from her heartbreak... >.>

I had to do it a lot for my aerobics class in high school. it's basically just lots of stretching.
