that's more or less what I was going for. If I have time I'll see about taking a photo of my actual rocking chair so you guys can see it.

I wanted it to have a woody/painted feel to it.

There are two here. A brown one and the yellow one. The yellow one has been around longer than I have and everywhere I've moved, it's gone with. The brown one belongs to my mom's boyfriend and it's shorter, smaller in general and very simple.

But it still does the job it's made for.

Interesting, Zypher. I do like rocking chairs, if it got oriental touch to it. xD You did give a wood feel to it.

haha, it is. My mom loves it. It's fairly comfortable too, despite it being made of wood.

I would like to have a cushion for my rocking chair, my bum gets sore after awhile. Dx
