"If Mello wants to shoot... then do it-"

"Cut!"

The crew gave a deep groan, shoulders slumping. They'd been at this scene for hours, trying to meet up to the high standards of the director.

The two teens in front of the screen looked irritated and exhausted. They were the only two in the scene, yet neither of them seemed able to get it right.

"Fuck, you want me to shoot him or something!?" The blonde boy snapped. "Cause I'll do it! Fuck, I'll shoot myself too! Props! Someone get a fucking bullet in this gun!"

The tall, thin fellow with the wild, raven hair standing just off-set sighed heavily and held his head- shaking it in disappointment.

"I think we're in serious need of a break," A young woman with bleached blonde sighed, giving the director a pleading look. "They've been at it for hours, sir! There's no way they're going to get the scene now!"

"Yeah, isn't there a law or something against having them on set too long or something?" A lanky young man with dark hair standing besides a powerful blonde man across from the woman asked with a frown.

The director threw up his arms with a frustrated yell and the crew all winced as he stormed off set.

After a few moments an auburn-haired young woman sighed and motioned to the two boys. "Go ahead and head out. When he comes back he'll want to shoot something with neither of you in it. Go on home."

With a frustrated sound, the teen that was seated on the floor stood up and stretched out, his limbs aching from hours in an awkward position.

"Jesus Christ!" The blonde boy threw up his own hands and tossed his gun on the prop table. "It's not like we don't have other shit to do either! I got exams this week and an interview with E!"

The raven-haired fellow approached the stage and looked both boys over.

"...You shouldn't ad-lib so much." He stated.

"I wouldn't have to if the script wasn't so poorly written," The shorter of the two boys mumbled, rolling his eyes. He came over and unbuttoned his shirt, starting to pull it off - it was extremely warm in there and the lights were burning his sensitive skin. "I could almost swear that Light pays them to make our lines so horrible so that he remains the star..."

"Why would he pay...he's co-writer." The man replied with a sigh. "And child labor isn't an issue with you two because you're not young enough."

"Jesus, this leather is just...in these lights!" The blonde snapped.

"Mihael, you're letting this get to you." The man said in warning.

"Sorry, Lawliet, but we really don't want to wind up killed off," The white-haired boy snapped before he sighed and looked away. "...Sorry. I just..." He shook his head. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to snap."

"No offense taken, I'm still getting royalties and a percentage." The man replied with a sigh. "I'm not big on the Hollywood scene, you know that...too many cameras."

"Too many drugs and crap too, huh?" Mihael snorted. "I'm outta here, I need a shower and shit."

"Do you want to get together later?" The younger teen offered, before he quickly cut in with, "To try and work out this scene when we're, you know, calmed down..."

"That depends." Mihael snorted. "Your trailer or someplace with a pool?"

The younger boy had to turn his face away to hide his pink cheeks. "My trailer."

"You got air conditioning?" Mihael asked. "This heat is killing me."

He wiped his forehead.

"Leather is murder in this weather." Mihael sighed.

"Wouldn't you know?" Someone scoffed to the side. "We all know how many times you have been in there!"

A few of the staff members chuckled.
