That is true. And there aren't any unicode cat paws anyways, so without the ones that are made by us we wouldn't have any!

the only problem I have with post formats is that my typography class has spoiled me and I would end up wanting to kern text properly...which I can't do on forums! D:

text kerning is manually altering the spacing between two letters. look at II, they look nice and pretty together. now look at AV. the space between them is ginormous! if there was a word that went AVII, the space makes it look awful! kerning is going in and fixing the space between AV so it's not so big, and matches the rest of the word.
