The thing I hate is most schools make it so you have to be 30 hours or more to be a sophomore then 60+ to be a junior, it's stupid.
Considering my school only lets you have 16. :/
Most people only get 13 or so a semester.
The only thing my adviser did was tell me to call her if I had trouble. When I did, she couldn't help me.
I had to call the head of the science department or whatever to get into Physics.
I guess it's because we have so many students.
At my old school we had specific advisers who actually knew us, knew us.
They weren't just, "So you're <name>, <student ID>, and your degree is <degree>" blah blah blah, all that impersonal stuff.
