I don't know much about it, but I guess there is only so much room for it to store graphics from pages you have loaded.
The object is to get faster load times, but it can jumble things or not show them if it is full.

I doubt there is any warning.
Anyway, you just go to "tools" on your bar and hit "clear history/cache/cookies" and give it a moment and it's all good again.
