When my mom passed away, we didn't have an open casket or anything. She was cremated instantly, and then we had the funeral with the urn instead of a casket. This is something I know she wanted, she did this for both her parents and I remember her telling me that's what she wanted as well. But... I had a horrible dream where she came to me and she was upset with me because she wanted an open casket funeral. She was furious with me, telling me I did everything wrong with her funeral... It keeps torturing me, every day, along with my own guilt for the things I said, did, and didn't do before her death.
