Amnesia: The Dark Descent #1

I don't play it and I don't plan to (I wouldn't be able to in all honesty), but I enjoy watching Let's Play! videos for it. My sister, her best friend and I are/were trying to watch it together, but I don't know if my sister can handle it any more. It's apparently been giving her nightmares.

I do know the possible endings, though, so don't worry about any spoilers... if there are any other fans.

It's pretty damn scary/suspenseful, but I find myself strangely fascinated by it. Even my sis would agree, she hates thinking about it, but she couldn't help but talk about it with me even though she knew that she would have to watch TV to get it off her mind before bed.

What about you guys?
How 'bout them Gatherers? Freaky little buggers, with their stretched faces. [shudders] I hate them. Sort of. I just can't stand their faces, god, if I saw one in real life I'd die on the spot.

Uhm, I guess I'll provide some spoons.

1) Have you played it? If not, do you plan to, or are you gonna just watch LPs on it like I did/am.

2) Gatherers. Wants hug or to rake your face of?

3) Alexander. Evil? Maybe. But can you bring yourself to hate him?

4) Do you feel that the makers did a great job at making it spooky? I sure do.

And is it just me, or does one of the monsters sound kind of like a wookie?

I fully intend to purchase this game tomorrow! I've been watching plays of it on youtube and it looks soooo awesome!

I downloaded the demo the second after I saw a Let's Play video. The atmosphere of that game is EPIC. When I get some extra money I plan on buying it. Easily the scariest game I've played.

I'm still playing. I can't play it alone and My friends want to play with me. So it's all awesome. Were also recording as we play. XD;

Anyways, I'm only watching the play-through/ let's-play so I don't get the full horror game experience...but that doesn't mean that it isn't scary. It puts games like RE5 to shame, in my opinion. And one more thing...I'd probably go insane before Daniel in the game, were I the main character XD.
