It's not that she's so much shy, she's more afraid of becoming hated (since people in their world do not approve of girl/girl relationships). That and she doesn't want to get hurt again by love, since well, she was "murdered"! D8

Taiye was "killed", yes. O: When she was a mortal, she fought in the army as a commanding officer using swords and she fell in love with her top recruit. That recruit played along with her feelings until one day she stabbed her in the back, literally! D8 Cuz she was a spy for the opposing team. The woman didn't finish her off though and left her to die and Taiye begged Ascellus to save her so she could find out why the woman did that. Ascellus saved her and made her a Captain in her army but never was able to bring herself to finding that woman again.

xD; Yes, but her best friend Blaqkin was also made a Captain of Braen's team, so they will always have each other, even though they are on opposing teams. *o*

That's the saddest backstory I have ever made for a character. xP
