Well, basically, you don't have to save your avvie before finishing it. You can also leave the equiping bar without saving and return to the same avatar state, even if it's different than the saved avatar. So you can avoid being naked. XD

When everything isn't on there doesn't mean it's not open. We have people here and still active while the staff behind the scenes working their butt off. D:
