I love terriers. I had my eyes set on a rat terrier when I went to choose my second dog, but my parents didn't like it cuz it was too hyper. They chose the shaking mutt on the cage above that one. It was a terrier mix. Out of all the dogs there, it looked like the most terrified one lol x'D. But I corrupted it and it turned all hyper x'D

Their also known as Rat Dogs and Bat-Eared. People seem to dislike them because they are hyper and yappy, but of the 5 I've had experience with none of them ever were.

If I had a rat terrier, it would be on hyper overload. I had a golden retriever before my second dog. It was like a normal one when we first got it. Very sociable and not too hyper. Then after a while it got so hyper that it became too troublesome to take care of it.

It all relies on the owner; Dogs will adapt to the personality of their owner or to how they are treated.

I'm not a dog handler by any means, but I know how to work with them, even having to used pure assertion to keep a rotweiler and another dog from attacking my neighbor and her grand kid, and again to rescue one of my teachers from two wild dogs. If you are the dominator, you can protect yourself from most dogs.

Yah xD. I over-loved my dogs x'D. I gave them more attention than they needed x'D
