This isn't a problem if we're doing it on our free time, but I think for what's expected from trisphee it will be a bit overwhelming to the artists. So I think this would be more like something done out of the generosity of the artists rather than being a set requirement.

There is nothing wrong with saying you want more colors than what's already given.

In the end, it is up to the staff to decide whether or not it gets done. And currently I doubt that any recolors/additions will happen any time soon.

Maybe in the distant future they could release items that are updated/recolored versions of older items? Of course, again this is up to the artists. -shrug-

Maybe in the future they could do something like other sites I'm on do. Make something like dyes and have some items dyeable with certain dyes or make something like spells that make all DIs available in the color of the spell/whatever(second one just sounds too complicated and time consuming to be worth it in my opinion)

I liked the dyes. They were cheap to do, and reversible.

I kinda like the dyes idea too.
