poptart - we tried talking it out for almost 3 hours before i eventually pulled the plug. we've had similar arguments fairly regularly for ages now, and there's no solution.

situations like that there won't be any solution if they've been attempted before.
the problem is is that one or the other person isn't putting enough effort into the relationship because they gave up, that's what it sounds like to me at least. but i hope for the best for you! :D

yeah. i gave up. we both tried really hard to make it work but we just weren't emotionally compatible. we might still have been able to make it work if it hadn't been for the distance.

that's what i feel. this way, yeah it hurts now, but at least there's still enough good memories (i think) that we'll be able to be friends again some day. if we let it continue chances are it would only have gotten worse. i probably would end up killing myself and then he'd REALLY hate me.
