My brother learned everything he knows from tech forums and stuff - no formal training whatsoever - and he fixes computers for friends/family left and right.

You might be able to google what your issue is, and barring that you might be able to sign up for a computer support forum of some kind and ask a more specific question.

Latvia is across the sea from Sweden. From our capital, ship travels quite often to Stockholm.
