If I may interject,
I've always wondered if this occurred to anyone else. The Witch King of Angmar (leader of the ringwraiths) had the prophecy that no man could kill him which then left him vulnerable to a woman and a hobbit while the other ringwraiths had no such prophecy made and therefore no vulnerability to this loophole...so in effect was the witch king made killable by this prophecy?

I guess... unless by men they meant men like a species.. that would explain the hobbit but as far as eowyn... i don't know... in the movie that was an epic kill...

well that's not especially the point...what I meant was that he made himself weaker by doing this supposed invulnerability prophecy where the normal nazgul can't be killed at all until sauron was destroyed
