I just don't see image sizes, especially when they aren't stretching the current layout...

I actually had my image 500px wide, and I swear I thought it was within regulations. And then Chi messaged me and I was like "Whuuuu, lol I'm dumb." I couldn't recognize the difference between 500 and 300 pixels. xD

If it makes anyone feel better, keep your non-300px images. There's a chance the limit might be increased, depending on servers/layout/etc. (And yes, server strain is a big part of the image limit, not just the size of the image in comparison with the layout).

She right, I should have checked the resolution....
Just been out of it...
But yeah, our rules for signature size is 300x300, either the size needs to be changed to fit or a different image needs to be used.
Sorry.
But, you changed it so it's not a big deal.

The size limit has been in effect since the ~~Open Beta started~~ the official forums opened. When it was put in the list of rules, it started.

Sorry, my brain messed up the time frame between Open Beta and when we got the official forums.

Then a lot of people will have a hard time resizing them. xD They feared it would make their current image distorted. I found a way without having them to look distorted. x3

I just got on, I haven't been in the best shape. x_x;

Well sometimes I won't resize the image, I'll just keep the original, open it, cut it and save it as: <name>2.png or .jpeg
One of our other users did that.

Resizing images to make them smaller rarely distorts them... It might make the details harder to see, but that's not really a distortion. Making an image larger, however, does.

If you use photoshop.. the Free Trasform keeps the image perfect :3 its what i do ^-^ except with that Gakupo image i posted as a gag for mario xD I cropped that.
