I was gone for a year, and they slowly updated stuff, then Bobbi went on Hiatus for a while, and she just came back. It's really slow though. But I know what you mean. Some places I go just because of one or two people there that I talk to. :) Like I kept coming back to Trisphee because you were the only person that I talked to.

Yeesh. Things are getting too expensive everywhere! When I was in school, field trips were either free, or under 20 dollars. (unless you were going out of the country, then you had to pay beaucoup dollars!)

*Nerds out* Wait for it... *taps screen* Just a little longer...
*blank stare* The Sun... Is charging?! How can the sun be charging?

Sorry about that. I'm finished with my Megamind geekness!

Edit: Got to run for a bit, we have to go get dinner!

Maybe she will get the site up and running again. I don't think I'll ever come back to stay though. Only places I still visit regularly is Trisphee, gaia and ernya.

Things are so much now a days that I just want to keep my kid home on those days. Not like they are gonna get grades for a field trip anyway.

-giggles- That's funny. xD I so wanna see that movie still. I finally got Despicable me and loved it!

Alright hun, take care. <3

I'm back! I'm back~

Yeah, I have a lot of sites that I bounce around on, at the moment, I think Subeta is the one I spend the most time on. (I like the achievement system. It makes me feel like I've accomplished something~)

I think the only time I ever got graded on a field trip was piano festival. But that was only bonus.

I bought the two dvd pack like, the day it came out, and I saw it 3 times in theaters. I absolutely LOVE it. If you get the chance to watch it, do~ I really liked Despicable Me~ My Mom and I ran around quoting the "It's so Fluffy" line for weeks!

Subeta? Didn't you show me that one before?

What is Piano festival? Sounds like a lot of fun. <3

Haha, I said that when Chris got me a big stuffed bunny. xD

I dunno, I may have. It's kinda like Neopets, but it's got an avatar system as well as a pet system.

Piano festival was kind of like Quiz Bowl (or anything else where you have to get up in front of everyone and perform) A panel of judges grades you, and you get numbers in different categories. Depending on how well we did, we got bonus points, or excused from the final. We had to dress up very fancy, miss pretty much the whole day, and when we finished, we got ice cream. All in all, it was a good time!

XD Awesome! Every time we see a big fuzzy animal now we say 'It's so fluff-eh!' It gets us some weird looks. :)

Ah, I don't think I have been in that site the. xD

Oh that sounds like a great time to spend a school day. -nods- They don't do anything like that here though.

Lol, me too an it's usually from kids.

I think I wanna change my name.

I like the face that all of their avatars & items are drawn, not pixilated, it's interesting. Kind of like always having avi-art!\

Yeah, it was one of the benefits of going to a college preparatory performing arts school. We had lots and lots of fun things always going on. But part of the contract the school had to sign to open was that we could never have a football, baseball, or cheer leading team. They were worried that everyone would want to go there, and then no one would be at the neighborhood schools.

:) What would you change it to?
Default #248
Really? Never seen a site go that way with the avatars and items.

Lol, probably for the best though. That way only those willing to work for things not sports related had a better chance to succeed.

I was thinking of changing it to Yommy an have my title changed to fluffy, smooshy an oh so nommy.

Yeah, I think I found out about the site because I saw people posting them in their siggys or forumblobs & I thought it was just art. So I asked a buddy who they got it from, because I liked it and wanted some for myself. They told me I was silly, and to go check out subeta. So I did. XD That's how I end up on all these sites. If someone tells me to try one, I do. XD

Yeah, really! It was nice though, because we did have a few sports, but even the jocks in those sports would then go off to their AP math classes or Drama and be just like everyone else.

Do EIIIT! I love that idea! LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!

I use to be like that but so far I can only keep up with three at a time.

I wish there were schools like that when I was young. Still mine was a lot better an more focused on the child than the ones of today.

Lol...I shall. xD

I think I'm a bit ADHD, but when I was diagnosed with Bipolar a couple years ago, I learned that one of the symptoms is starting lots of things, and never really going anywhere or loosing interest. I kind of do that, but then in a week or two, I'll be back. I just bounce around a lot!

IMHO, I think schools are only going to get worse and worse. No funding is leading to them cutting arts, music, and p.e., and students are being "taught to the tests". When I was in school, We had to study the things that were going to be on the statewide test, and only after that was finished would we go back and learn everything else. It's like there's no focus on actually learning something for the future, just making sure that the school's scores look good.

Oh wow, I thought Bipolar meant you went from happy to mad or sad an such. I know I have something along the lines of ADD because I will space out and lose focus on anything I am doing. Just never been diagnosed with anything though my last regular doctors visit he asked if I was ADHD. I dunno why either, he hadn't talked to me for long before asking. He's not my neurologist either just so ya know. xD

Yeah an here in SC they are wanting to add 15 minutes to each day of school but make Friday a no school day as well. Seems they are looking to do more harm than good anymore. An if the state ya live in has a lottery the earnings from that usually go in pockets of undeserving people or sent for collages while the K-12 schools slip an fall in funding.

I did it. ^_^

It does, there's what's called Manic episodes which is where you kind of go a little crazy. That's the part where you start trying to do a million things at once, or where you feel like you have to do something, or you get really angry. Then there's the depressive part, which is where you don't want to do anything, at all.

I have Bi-polar Disorder type II, which is the milder version. When I'm having a manic episode I talk really fast, and I start to obsessively clean. Like It can be 2 am, and I'll HAVE to get up and clean. I can try to roll over and go to sleep, but I simply can't do it. I've got to get up and do it. I've spent nights in the kitchen scrubbing all of our pots and pans to the point where it hurt to bend my wrists, but I can't stop.

I've had a couple of bad depressive episodes, (which is how I got diagnosed) but nothing major in the past two years. There used to be days where I wouldn't want to get out of bed. There could be something I was really looking forward to, and then I'd wake up and just feel ... horrible. Like the weight of the world was bearing down on me and crushing me. The worst was that you never knew what was going to snap you from one extreme to the next, or how long you'd stay there.

XD Yeah, that's always good when your doctor says something like that. It's like .... Oh, could you tell?

I know! The system is broken, and it doesn't seem like it's going to be fixed any time in the future.
Default #254
Oh wow, So much of the bad one sounds like my mother. It would also explain why Chris always said she was Bipolar to begin with. You have to be a strong person to be able to deal with that and pull through it as well.

I know right? He asked an I was like, I dunno, maybe? xD

Seems like we had a depression but not of money and jobs but instead in the school systems.

It might be a little weird to say this, but I'm actually kind of glad that I have bipolar, and not just depression. I was in high school when I got hit with it pretty rough, but then it'd cycle back around and I'd be okay for a while. I don't think I could have made it through if it had been only rough patches. I hold people that have gone though severe depression in a pretty high standard in my book. Those people are fighters.

XD It's like no I don't have ADH ... What's that?! *looks at shiny* Oh... what were we talking about again?

I think that's the best way I've ever heard it summed up. An education depression!
Default #256
Yes they are an it's always amazing that they could pull through it.

Lol, For me I can be speaking an in mid sentence an sometimes mid word I'll stop an start staring off at something totally different than what I had been talking about.

That's because tey wouldn't kow what to call it themselves.
