It made it hard for me to trust guys for a long time... But my current boyfriend who is actually trying to help me with my trust issues rather than just getting upset with me because of my trust issues.

At first I don't trust anyone especially in a relationship. For me you have to earn my trust and when anyone hurts me in a negative way all that trush you built for me is destroyed and it's harder to build a house with broken bricks

I try to be a forgiving person, but it's hard.... like my mom loved my ex who cheated on me... and he's about to come back to the same college as me.... and she keeps telling me that i should get back together with him. *rolls eyes*

I've never been cheated on, but when it happens everything we built has been destroyed and for me to end the misery and clean up the pieces is to break up with him/dump him and be over with him and it would take me a while to trust men again

My ex just randomly texted me, "You suck." I don't know where that came from. I tried to still be friends after we broke up but he kept trying to turn it dirty so now I just ignore him. Still hurts my feelings though. We played everquest2 together. D:

Well my mom doesn't know he cheated on me... and i don't want her to. She's best friends with his parents. He was my best friend then we started dating. And he went back home for 2 years and he's going to be coming back to college in january... and my mom was like oh you should start talking to him and all this shit and i'm just like ummmmmm no! But yeah i was stupid and naive and took him back after he cheated on me, and then he kept cheating on me for 4 more months.... yea no way i'm going back to that.

I was in high school and was stupid and i thought he was the greatest guy ever... He didn't even tell me he was cheating. My brother saw him kissing another girl, and when i went down to see him for my birthday at the end of the date i asked him about it, and he said that he wanted to break up with me and be with her... Then two weeks later he came up to see his aunt and uncle who live 20 minutes from my house and he wanted to see me and talk about stuff. And he apologized and promised that he would never cheat, and i was still in denial that he had cheated, so i blindly took him back, and then it wasn't until this past august when i finally found out that he had cheated on me for 4 months after that... and i found out from his brother. That was two years ago, and i've had two other boyfriends since but this boyfriend is the first one who has been sweet enough to try to help me through my trust issues because of my ex. But yea so he cheated on me for a total of almost 6 months.

Yea he's the biggest sweetheart ever. I used to be a very trusting person... And then after that relationship and then the guy i was dating before my current boyfriend who basically was a two faced jerk... And I just broke up with him because i thought things weren't going too well... and then he showed his true colors when i tried to stay friends with him.... worst idea ever on my part... but oh well. and my current boyfriend and i were just friends when my ex and i were dating and then he helped me through that break up a lot. And he and i started dating. He is seriously the best thing that has happened to me in a very very long time.
