Okay, so apparently 14 yards is JUST barely enough material...can I be very, very afraid now? I've got everything cut out and pinned, I'll sew it all together tomorrow.... If all goes well I'll be done with this come this weekend sans detail-y bits.... Then I can work on fixing wigs, adding stuff to my costumes, and fixing my shoes! Oh, well, yeah, we're ignoring the 20 hand done buttonholes, that'll take time on the flight.

Finishing off an Undertaker costume for fanime. Then I have to update my zori(they're a bit too big), add a shawl drape to a my formal, fix two wigs(ugh) and make Raphael's mask. But first! a trip to the bank and a fast joanns dash.

You lost weight?

nope, in fact I've gained, but zori are shoes, and I made 'em a bit too big so I could see how they fit, now I just need to cut them down about an inch. And I've now sewn it all together...just need to interface the collar and put it on..then sleeves and hemming!

It's easier to gain weight than to lose I wish it was the other way aound

for a while I was complaining about loosing weight, but most of my costumes involve really fitted things and corsets, so it's easier if you gain weight in those, you can cinch down...loosing weight makes it harder, you can only make it so small.

Well, for me I gain weight easily because I was born with a slower metabolism rate than normal. I hope I can take hormone medications to fix that problem

my metabolism was super slow too, but I found that eating a lot of small meals, doing a lot of cardo, and a lot of citrus. For the longest time if I tried to eat before noon I would get really sick.
