The only MMO I've really stuck with is Ragnarok Online, because I can just play solo when I want, and if Cale and his buds want to play we can all hook up and play together without getting in each others way. I love that I can play anytime I want, and play it my way. I don't have to rely on others to do raids for the gear/levels that I need.

I used to play RuneScape a while back, but then something horrible happened... my mom and dad started playing and decided they really like it. Even worse was that they got better at it than me so quickly! I felt such shame at being bested at a game like that by my parents that I stopped playing.

lol! I think it would be cool if my mom played RO with me. She just learned how to work Facebook though so I don't think any games more advanced than bejewelled are in the near future lol.

I really should have expected something like that to have happened, though. I got my videogaming skills from my mom, and my dad is amazing with electronics.

It just frustrates me to zero end that I started playing about a year before them, and they surpassed me in about two months. Granted, of course, that I share a computer with my brother and they both have their own.

I've tried to get my mom to pick up a real game controller, but she always complains that there's too many buttons. I've told her that 17 buttons is nothing once you get the hang of it, but all she does is complain.

you can solo in rift :) all classes have a build you can play to be able to kill stuff with easily.

A friend of mine plays Ragnarok Online and has mentioned it to me the odd time. I've never played any onlinen multiplayer RPG's, mostly for the sake of my grades in university. Is it quest based or more of a run around and do stuff sort of game?

When it comes to RPG's I like the Baldur's Gate games by Black Isle, and especially the Elder Scrolls games, though I've only played Daggerfall and Morrowind in depth. Never got around to finishing either one. Daggerfall had a glitch preventing us from completing the main quest but it was fun to run around anyway, and in Morrowind I can't really be bothered about the quest too much. I hope my laptop can run Skyrim when it comes out. Been having a great time with the Bloodmoon expansion though I've never really played Nords much. My favourites are the beast races.

i love the elder scrolls games >w< can't wait for the new one <3 I'll have to upgrade my computer to run the game probably though.. so i better get a job asap Dx

Rift? You don't have to quest at all really, theres these elemental rips in the game that appear in each zone(rifts). You can level up solely by doing them. For a mmo it feels very relaxed, the guild me and Kano run is just a casual guild and we still get time in each week for raids ^^ we just only run them for a few hours when we have the members on. You can quest and level up as well but it's really your choice, if you really liked pvp you can do that way as well xD

thats a shame really, i've found most of the good games are p2p... cause most of the time any f2p have the cash shop that allows people to super power her armor and weapons if they spend enough .__.;

Well this one doesn't have one, plus as far as i've seen the devs have been paying attention to the community so it'll probably never have one.

standard fee - 14.99 a month, i think you get a little off if you use the 3 month plan or the 6 month. I only pay 9.99 a month due to founders fee from being in the game since beta.
