You have completely shattered my sterotype on soldiers. Yes I try to be neutral and without them but um...I never really thought of a manga, game loving girl(?) to be deployed in afghanstan. Granted not all jobs are warrior jobs (which would likely result in me dying).

I am very much a lady face. I'm a heavy mechanic, a/c specialist, and I also handle supply systems on the computer end of things.... i.e. I do a lot of random stuff.

I'm actually hoping to change my job over this fall so I can join the mortuary forensics team.

ugh, lived in Saudi for a few years, I recall that heat, it's oppressive. But I'll take desert heat over tropical humidity annnnny day. And I feel that your title of the thread is now misleading ;) but that's okay, fabulous hair can be forgiven.

why were you in saudi? I am the exact opposite, I was raised in Georgia so I love the wet sticky heat. I am good never going to a desert again personally.

was raised a military brat(air force) so I've made it to five of the seven continents. I really, reeeeeeeeeeeally hate humidity, lived in atlanta for 7 years and got asthma out of that deal. no more, thanks. lovin' CO for the lack of moister LOL and the cooler temps.

my other half wants to live an hour from somewhere/anywhere in the desert...

I'm going to have to start learning to like that which i think sucks most.
I've also never lived outside of a major city. ::deep sigh::
