I think the achivement system is a good idea, it will get the site more active.

I saw it pop up and did a oO. But I think the achevements are cute, and we seem to be doing them in a way that's at least more than a status symbol ^^ Being able to buy stuff with the tokens is neat and when there's something there one would want, then that person will probably look into the achevements more :3 Plus for a lot of people achevements are just FUN ;D
Oh and Winter, Duchess and the rest... I have a terrible time committing to RPs so I tend to stay away. I used to do them but lack of committment on my part made them die D: I just get distr.. ooo shiny!

I think, honestly, the best part of these achievements, is the fact we'll get more activity. With this, and the event coming up, its sure to draw more people back. That and! It gives us all something to quest for, that virtually costs nothing at all. Except expanding your horizons to post in places you never thought you would, making new friends posting in said places, making aurum while you do it... its really, really beneficial.

i think it's awesome since we get to have mini-quests... and even get rewards for it aside from aurum... besides, this is great especially when there are no events going on... people will have a reason to be active... though hopefully, no spam or less spams will come out of this...

I am thinkin' that if this is sort of like also introduction for new users to site... why not include such basic things as modifying signature, subscribing to a thread and such?
Maybe some for being online for certain time? They could stack up, though, not for row being online.
