Kids Next Door is great. CARTOON NERD FACT: Numbuh 5's older sister Cree is named after the voice actor Cree Summers, who voices both characters. (She's also the voice of Susie Carmichael from Rugrats and Almira from Tiny Toon Adventures.)

Oh, I miss the older cartoons. It's all about political correctness now'a days. Stupid concept has ruined so many things. So. Many. Things.

Parent's complain too much

Y'know, when I was a kid ::leans on her walker:: all our cartoons had morals at the end, how could that not be PC?? I mean(and god, about to prove how ancient I am) by the end of a cartoon block in the afternoon Adam and Adora had warned you about strangers, Roadblock had stopped us from playing with downed power lines and Jerrica and Kimber helped talk you out of running away from home.

This isn't saying I didn't enjoy things like KnD, PPG, EEnE, and BtaS. I did, but I don't like most of the new stuff no matter how much people try to tell me it's hilarious.

Hrm after a bit of internal debate, I'm going to move this to the Anime/Cartoons subforum in the TV area since it seems to fit better there.

What gets me kinda angry about old TV shows is when they bring them back and add onto them to the point they don't make sense. For example, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I LOVE them. However, the new series drives me up a wall because it went way too far in the story line. So annoying. ><

I agree with the drugs theory... I'll admit we had our share of stupid cartoons, but today's cartoons seem stupid AND pointless.

Instead of silliness happening because of something the characters did actively, like Johnny Bravo getting pummelled repeatedly because he's a douche, we have silliness happening for the SAKE of just having silliness

I like the older cartoons more than newer ones. Don Bluth had some pretty amazing stuff..

lol I was watching some of the old cartoons and animes that I saw when I was a kid. I really never noticed that the bad guy in Sailor moon grabs her boobs in attempt to "silence her" XD

Courage the cowardly dog was my FAVORITE show as a kid. And I also like Ed, Ed & Eddy. xD That show was about kids just trying to con everyone, everyday, all day. xDDD

Right now, I'm going back to watch the old X-Men Evolution series. Haven't seen it in forever.

I miss the old Cartoon Network; they had a lot going for them back in the day. I have seen some cartoons on Cartoon Network that seem a bit...inappropriate and I'm not talking about Adult Swim, I'm talking about the little kiddie shows and also, I think Disney has gone to s#@%...
