I just had to post, just once, because I need to rant. Kind of. xD;;

DONT YOU JUST HATE IT WHEN PEOPLE ASK HOW YOU'RE DOING, DON'T GIVE YOU A CHANCE TO RESPOND, AND THEN GO ON TALKING ABOUT THEMSELVES? AND THEN WHY YOU TRY TO GET SOMETHING OUT, THEY JUST IGNORE YOU, AND KEEP TALKING ABOUT THEIR PROBLEMS, and ignoring yours?! ... Its become a new pet peeve of mine. xD;

I'm frustrated by my college. :C

They have this stupid "time ticket" system for choosing classes, so that certain students (honor students, freshmen, seniors, etc., etc.) pick classes at certain times. Well, my friend - and apparently a significant number of other students - have already chosen classes, while I'm locked out for another month (according to the calendar on the school website) and most of the classes for my department are already freaking filled so now I'm worrying about whether I'll even be able to fit four classes into my semester because the choices are so slim.

Oh, Goddess. That sounds like... well.. excuse the language. Crap.
Any of them you interested in? Theres nothing like getting stuck with a class you have zero interest in.

At this point, I'm just hoping to get good professors. There were a lot of classes that are now closed that I really wanted to take, but I can always wait until the Spring semester - when I'll hopefully have a better chance at getting classes - to take them. Right now, I'm much more worried about getting stuck with a crappy professor.

I'm an English major, which means most (if not all) of my classes are writing/reading related - and while I love writing/reading, a bad professor in those subjects can be a huge nightmare.

I had a HORRIBLE English teacher back in High School.. and they stuck me with her for TWO. FREAKING. YEARS.

Its almost if she were purposely stalking me.
Went from teaching Freshman, to teaching Juniors.
