I guess I could consider that a sign of good parenting. It's my belief that a kid doesn't need a phone until they start driving, or at least going out with friends without parental supervision. though surely you'd have at least a few older friends who drive, or friends with parents who give them phones for no good reason? @.@ my sister got a phone when she was 13, but only because my dad started working for tmobile.

Some of my friends have younger siblings that have phones.
But they don't, and they go out more then their siblings do.

that doesn't make sense at all. o.O parents can be crazy sometimes. when I have kids, they're going to get phones when I need them to have phones (whether for me tracking their every movement, or for their own safety).
