Oh, wow, I was thinking PS2 and I wrote PS1 >< My roommate (Joey) uses a PS2 controller with a USB converter for his computer. I've tried it and it works pretty well, and since you have the controller anyways... I'm not sure how much a converter is though.
I keep wanting to play Oblivion while I'm waiting for this, but if I can manage to hold off, I'll that much more excited to play it once it comes out. 'tis tough, though.

I'm a patient self, I can wait. It does help that I have yet to actually finish Morrowind. I keep forgetting to go get Daggerfall. I could finish that one too, or even just make it past the stupid Lich dungeon. Or maybe it was something about worms. Can't really recall.
Oh, don't even get me started on how excited I am for Skyrim...
I'm a bit unhealthily excited for it.
Everything I compare to it (even though it hasn't come out yet) just pales in comparison to my hopes for Skyrim.

Consider it time for those among us with no money to save up for it. I'm hoping my laptop will run it. I may buy it anyway and stash it for later use with a better computer is that's the case. I still have Warcraft III hanging around that I haven't bothered to try and install yet. It's rare that I'm excited for new games. I still haven't bothered to try my brother's copy of Dragon Age that he said he'd lend me, and most of the games I want are older and thus harder to find. I'd love to get my hands on a copy of Dungeon Keeper eventually.
Yup. Characterized by the fat read blob of a monster with the two flails hanging from his horns. There's one and two. The sequel allows you to take control of a creature and run around in it's body. In one quest you possess a drow body to assassinate a particular hero in your dungeon. I like posessing the imps, but they run so blinkin' fast that I usually can't make a turn before I smack into the wall.
I have an old DnD adventure called "Reverse Dungeon" where the players need to defend their dungeon from the DM's party, but I haven't gotten around to checking it out fully yet. I'll need to either take the time t convert it to a newer edition, or teach my friends how to play 2e. I still have some memory of how it works.
Well, if my memory is correct I have it and don't play it much anymore, after I move I'll check my PC games, and if so, I don't mind sending it your way. But that won't be until the end of July probably o.o
We have one or both somewhere. Just need to see if they are functional or not. Some new comps don't like old games which irritates me at times. I want to play Warcraft II again but I'll need to dig up an emulator for it.
Oh, really? I've only had trouble running some of the really old games. But then again I got the Windows versions of Warcraft 1 and 2, not the DOS ones. Though I do remember having some issues trying to run the old Might and Magic games....
Has anyone looked up much of the plotline at all? I think I read something about another dead king - yet again. Seems to be the default - while on IGN but I wasn't into reading articles at the time. Maybe I just don't want to get myself excited.
I believe the game will be starting off with your character about to be executed and having to escape from that situation. That was a while back when I read that, though, we'll have to see if that holds true.
