both parts have SEPARATE item sets and SEPARATE currencies, its like two events side by side, but you have to have one to have the other.

the items cost so much during a short event because some people (......like me) have been mega-hoarders in the past. If you saw the huge amount of Nox Nocturnalis items I have....all earned on my own; I never bought a single item, shard, or soul off anyone else. it makes Coda cry to think about it. so it's a way to make the items a bit rarer. if you do manage to collect a bunch of them, congratulations. you're awesome. it should be completely possible to collect a full set though, especially if you enter contests.

Well, in past events people were complaining the items were too easy to get. We expect users who put a little effort into it to be able to get a full set, but getting more than two is going to require some real dedication.
