I want the HTC EVO Shift. *o* I just hope at the Sprint store it doesn't have a ridiculous "mail in rebate" thing to make it cost a ton. :/ I hate mail in rebates. Just give me the price off when I buy the thing! *shakes fist*
Taiki, the point of mail in rebates is that a lot of people forget to do them. so it makes the phone seem like it costs less because you're getting a lot of money back, so more people buy it. then when people forget, they make a heck ton of extra dough. it's brilliant marketing, really.
Well right now Sprint was having a deal thing going on where people didn't have to pay for rebates and they were instant so I was happy. *o* I ended up getting the Samsung Epic and so far it's much faster than my Samsung Moment.
I don't really like how the Twitter app works compared to my old one but I guess I can learn to deal with it. xD Plus the Home and Back buttons are switched from my old phone so I keep pressing the wrong one. |D
you can get any twitter app from the android market though, can't you? I use Twicca and it's alright but sometimes I get confused because I don't use Twitter a ton.
you'll get used to the buttons eventually. XD I always use the "end" button to turn my phone's screen both on and off, so sometimes when I'm on speaker phone and I try to turn on the screen, I accidentally hang up on people. XD
Well I use the basic Twitter app and have the widget on my Home screen so I can always see if people have tweeted (it'll show the newest tweet on my Home screen). However on my old phone when I would touch it, it'd take me to a list of tweets. Now on this new one when I touch it, it takes me to ONLY that 1 newest tweet that it's showing and I have to hit Menu and Home in the app to see the list. @o@ It's lame... I searched the settings but can't find any way to change it.
ugh, that's obnoxious. if you can see the tweet without touching it, touching it should make it do something different! @o@ whoever designed that is way silly.
RIGHT?! I don't understand it either. xD I'm waiting for it to do an automatic refresh to see if it was only doing it because it's newly installed. I hope that's the case. @o@
