so...is it after you earn that many or that many are in your 'bank' so to speak? I tend to spend them as soon as they accrue, so I'll never have more than 50 in bank, so will it know when I've already hit 350 cumulatively?

double posting cause I'm no longer getting pearls as I post. I just watched and I posted four times and got not one pearl. Now, I've gotten to the point I should get one for every two posts, but still.

Edit, make that five posts and none.
Edit 2, it took seven posts to get one pearl.
Edit 3, so it was only for my 47th pearl that it did this, it's now back to working at 2:1

whether you get a pearl for a post or not is random. it's not going to be a perfect every-other-post deal.

Think of it this way: Every time you make a post, either a 1 or a 2 is chosen randomly. If it's a 1, you get a pearl. if it's a 2, you don't.
it's possible to have a bunch of non-pearl posts in a row this way through sheer bad luck. But it's also possible to get a bunch of pearl gaining posts in a row as well.
