Psh. They better be. Something tells me that armor of theirs is bullet retardant, and probably tooth resistant. Although it would make a great excuse for Lev to break a canine on one of them, if I'm going for historical accuracy with the real Lions of Tsavo.

So, I wanted to explore an idea with you. You know how it seems when enough raw emotion or hate or anything of the sort is built up in one place, that place seems to take on a persona of its own, or things begin to happen there? For example, asylums, prisons, things like that. I kind of wanted to use that to explain Lev's demon. Centuries of blood being spilled finally led to Tsavo manifesting its own lowly demon, a being weak in spirit whose only ambition is to consume more blood and life. And with each consummation, it becomes stronger. Of course, it only craves more. It's not after power, it's only driven by its own hunger. If that sounds viable to you, I'd like to go in to more detail about it. If not, I can come up with something else.

Sure thing, although I had to Google (verb, it's what you do!) it before I could agree with you. And what's the implications of knowing a demon's true name 'round these parts anyway? Same thing with God going kaput, forcing them to do your chores, or is it useless aside from knowing where to put them on your MSN friends list?

SO, I had an idea - which may actually really be Salone's idea - that might solve a couple of issues with how to move forward. Since Rue doesn't want to go with the rest of the group, but has no idea where else to go and will therefore inevitably end up joining them... What if something were to maybe... attack and demolish the whole city, to sort of nudge everyone into leaving quickly in a group? If it happened after Jeanne found her sword as well, it could solve the issue of her returning it.

Also, my next post depends on this question: Would it be reasonable to assume that a cult of people dedicated to the worship of Satan are aware of his death, or does nobody know what happened to him?

Um... hmm, lots to think about.

Salone, I think it would bestow a measure of power over the demon. Not complete control, but a very forceful coercion.

And, Dolly, that could certainly work. Would have to come up with a suitable foe to do so, and also a way for us not to get destroyed along with it.

And, I'm not really sure on the last point. They might be able to delude themselves by wielding powers granted by other demons and convincing themselves it all comes from him. *shrugs* I don't really care either way. You can take it in any direction you want.

The alliance bunker could turn on us in favor of another payer...<.<...>.>...

Well, we seem to be more or less on our way at the moment. Do you guys really think it's necessary for yet another disaster to befall poor Corinth?

Maybe we can have the disaster that throws us together happen at our next meetup? Or maybe Rue and Lev are walking and Feenai and others offer to let them ride along...

I thought disaster was what made this role play! If unfortunate circumstances can't happen, then we'll have to make them happen!

Well, okay, whatever you guys want to do. I'm just a bit hard-pressed to think of another plausible threat that would strike at the city at this point. We're not exactly on the front lines at the moment.

It was just a suggestion. If it doesn't sound reasonable to you, then you do have the authority to say no.
