I have a small pit in my belly button and I pulled out a tiny, hard, blackish contraption from it a while back with tweezers, but it was big enough to wonder how it formed in there for so long without noticing it. Anything coming near my belly button, such as people putting their finger in it, kinda freaks me out a little lol. I don't know if this is weird or not >.>

I am curious if anyone else here has had this experience with the dark contraption or fear of things getting in their belly buttons.

the only thing that gets in my belly button are the lint from my clothes

when I was...10?ish I went to girl scout camp...and came home with a new appreciation of cleaning out my belly button. why? because the first time I took a bath afterwards I found a freaking TICK in there!!! Suffice to say this did not help my fear of crawly things. So I now religiously clean it out when I shower or bathe.

And for me it's pretty rare although my sister has lint in her bellybutton almost all the time though

The last time I cleaned my bellybutton, blood came out of it. Granted it stopped but it was more of the cleaning job to get out the dried up blood

I'm terrified of people putting their fingers in my belly button. My boyfriend tries to poke my belly button, put his finger inside, and it freaks me out. ; A;

No one has poked my belly button before (except myself when I'm bored)

you /do/ know it leads to your inernal organs right? that is part of why it is so weird, it's literally your squishy-bits at the very closest

A tick in my belly button would be so freaking scary.. I almost couldn't handle it if that happened to me.

My boyfriend tries poking me in my belly button too even though he knows I don't like it, but in a way it has helped me be able to even look inside of it. I think to conquer your fears you gotta face them. The only fear I can't face is roller coasters, even though I love going fast.

I don't really have naval troubles or it to be high maintenance so its rare to clean my belly button

Actually it just leads to a bunch of blood vessels, and it hasn't done that since you were in the womb -- it's just scar tissue now.

My belly button is.. *meh* Just a belly button lol. It's just there. when I wash I clean it, thats about it lol. I don't really have any worries :o

I've never actually had- Anything in my Belly button. Ever D: Which makes me feel strange. xD
But I'm a clean freak, so it's like- I've seen people who don't clean their ears, and I gawk.. Because I find it gross. xD
I used to shower 3 times a day when I was little.. ^^; (Partically because I loved mud and bugs.. but still) So- That's probably why I've never found anything in my navel. xD BUT it's not weird, I'm assuming it's actually just a build of of dirt.
